Under ERISA, every ESOP must designate a trustee. This trustee must ensure that the plan is operated for the sole and exclusive benefit of the plan participants and their beneficiaries. The professional fiduciaries at Private Trust Management Group are prepared to serve in the following capacities:
Directed Trustee
Acts at the direction of the Plan Administrator or other third party who makes the prudential decisions and directs the trustee.
Independent Trustee
Makes and implements the prudential decisions for the benefit of the ESOP, the plan participants and their beneficiaries.
